Jardin Albert-IerJardin Albert-Ier is one of the city’s oldest gardens, and was named after the Belgian king in 1914, with many species of palm trees and very old rose plants; it runs from the sea front to Place Masséna. Arches of vegetation surround vast lawns with ponds, waterworks and kids riding in the merry-go-round. You cannot miss the towering sculpture en forme d’arc created by artist Bernard Venet.Espace Masséna opens a broad perspective on the old town and hills.
