Monastere Notre-Dame

The adjacent museum, Musée Franciscain is extremely interesting and the monastic buildings and gardens provide visitors with a peaceful, picturesque retreat.
The museum shows the life of the Franciscans in Nice from the 13th to the 18th C. and the general spiritual and social work of the Franciscan order. Inside the church there are fine altarpieces of the Nice school, including a Crucifix by Bréa dating from 1475.
